Grant Guidelines

Eligibility Guidelines for Grant Consideration

The following guidelines must be met for grant consideration from the foundation:
  • Must be a 501(c)(3) organization in good standing with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
  • Program must be located in the United States.
  • Grants are only available to organizations with open, non-restrictive programs that operate open to all, regardless of race, creed, sex, sexual orientation, religious belief, or nationality.
  • The organization must demonstrate financial stability. All foundation grants will be for a finite period of time. Priority will be given to those requests that demonstrate ongoing financial stability when our grant concludes.
  • Grant applicant acknowledges that it has a written policy that addresses its commitment to keep women and children safe from abuse by preventing, recognizing and responding to situations that in any way compromise their safety.
  • When Georgia Smiled will give particular attention to programs that may have an especially meaningful impact upon their participants and have far reaching outcomes.
