The Robin McGraw and Dr. Phil Foundation

Helping Victims of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault

Build Awareness, Offer Solutions, and Address Needs

When Georgia Smiled: The Robin McGraw and Dr. Phil Foundation is devoted to helping advance organizations and programs that serve victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse and individuals facing crisis to live healthy, safe and joy-filled lives. We also support communities that have been severely affected by disasters.

Dr. Phil McGraw, the most well-known mental health professional in the world launched his award-winning daytime talk show in 2002. Dr. Phil has used his platform to make psychology accessible and understandable to the general public by addressing important personal and social issues. In 2003, Dr. Phil established the Dr. Phil Foundation funding many worthy organizations benefitting disadvantaged families and children.

Inspiring Change by Creating and Advancing Programs

Helping People Live Healthy, Safe and Joy-Filled Lives

Robin McGraw, philanthropist, entrepreneur, television personality and two-time #1 New York Times bestselling author, is committed to her mission to inspire women to live their best lives. A daily presence on the Dr. Phil show since its inception, viewers worldwide have embraced Robin’s contributions to the show; whether it be discussing her experiences as a wife, mother and grandmother, or dealing with issues that women face in the many phases of their lives.

In October 2013, Robin launched her own charitable foundation, When Georgia Smiled. Robin set out to enact real change by creating and advancing programs that help victims of domestic violence and sexual assault live healthy, safe and joy-filled lives. In 2016, the Dr. Phil Foundation merged with When Georgia Smiled: The Robin McGraw Foundation. The Founders, Dr. Phil and Robin McGraw saw that the two foundations shared a common purpose, so teaming up was a natural step. By coming together, the foundation is able to give at a greater capacity to organizations and programs to help end domestic violence and child abuse.
